Queen Butterfly peeking over the weed he/she has landed on. The background was turned black to bring out the backlight and the color of the Butterfly. Image taken at Butterfly Estates in Ft. Myers, Fl. with my Samsung HZ50W camera with the lens extended to approx. 300.

Rosalie has been a photographer for many years. She spent a few years photographing school children and won an award for ‘Outstanding Photo’. She moved on to Nature Photography and was featured in the local newspaper to advertise a photo contest. Her work has been exhibited in many local shows, and she has been published in a calendar.
She is a graduate of NY Institute of Photography and has won ‘Best of Show’ as well as many first place ribbons
