The White Ibis, Eudocimus albus, is a colorful and beautiful bird that uses its’ long bill that is downcurved to probe the mud for crustaceans and frogs. Nests in large colonies. Lives near tital mudflats, beaches, marshes and swamps. This image was taken at Lakes Park in Ft. Myers, Florida
