I am retired, an Army veteran, a husband of 41 years, a father of two boys and grandfather of four girls.
I play the trumpet and saxophone for my own amusement and for church activities as well.
I belong to the American Legion, and in that connection I’m a volunteer bugler at the national cemetery.
As you’ve probably guessed, I like to take pictures. My granddaughters are my easiest subjects, because it’s not difficult to get good pictures of any of them. Nature shots are usually more challenging, because it usually takes planning, effort and savvy to open the shutter at the right place and the right time and for the right amount of time. In one regard, photography is like music, in that one must take many things into account all at the same time in order to get it right.
