Amy Briner

My interest in photography started in the 10th grade with an English assignment. My English teacher told us to pick something we’d never done before and try it out. I chose photography. Of course almost everyone has picked up a camera at one time or another in their lives but this was different. I had never really picked up a camera with the intent of making art. All of a sudden I was looking at the world differently. Instead of seeing a tree or a building I saw lines and shapes and textures. Photography quickly became my passion. I still have quite a lot to learn but I’m enjoying the journey and loving every new thing that I learn that helps me in becoming a better photographer.
