This is fantastic Jessica! Love your eye and tear and the lips are great! I’ve tried those kind of lips with no luck….any tips?! Nice work :)

  • Thank you :)

For the lips, I actually used liquid eye liner (I have black lipstick, but it has glitter in it). I guess that made it easier for me to make a finer outline. But I’ve done this kind of lip makeup a lot. And I find what works is to make the top part a little larger than your natural lip and make sure the bottom is balanced (the same width as the top). I also extend the bottom part a little bit past the bottom of the lip. So you’re sort of over exaggerating your lip shape. And for it to really stand out, before you apply it, use foundation to make your lips a little more pale.

  • Forgot to mention, here I actually edited my lips out for the most part (you can probably tell lol). But I only did that to make the black really stand out on its own.

that looks like a real tear to me. very well done!!

It is real, the trick is my eyes were watering from the sun (used natural outdoor lighting for this). Lol.

Jessica…the reason I could tell is that I tried something similiar this past week and could not for the life of me get a “real” looking tear out of PS. lol! So, I opted for running mascara. :) Yours really is excellent!!
