I really LOVE this portrait! Just awesome composition, the richness of the tones and the stunning porcelain skin – an absolute trademark of yours! And she’s holding the pose so so well! Looks just like how she ‘is’ – so strong and ‘in your face’, yet terribly vulnerable too… Wonderful costume and makeup!

I had to google that to figure out what you were talking about and I found something about a play based on the wizard of oz and googled cast lists.. I found This and I see where my name is listed under “Monkeys, Students, Denizens of the Emerald City, Palace Guards and Other Citizens of Oz”

Nope, that’s definitely not me! But I have a very common name. If you google it you’ll find 2 other Jessica Walkers who are photographers. ;)

lol that’s funny… my boyfriend is doing shrooms tonight. He of course wanted to do them with me. But I’m pretty anti drug anything. Not that they’re really like negative drugs. But yeah.. part of me wants to experience it and the other part of me feels completely opposed.

You know, I struggled with that same thought before I tried them the first time. Made my first trip kind of scary. But, the 2nd time, and so on….it has been amazing and so very very spiritual! You learn a lot about yourself and the world during a trip. My hubby and I actually shared a trip this last time….the most incredible thing EVER!

Nothing specific, it was just a creative/expressive fashion shoot. ;) But don’t feel discouraged to let your imagination run with it. I like for people to interpret my photos however they see fit.

Well I am very much opposed to the notion that the viewer should somehow interpret a work of art however the see fit to . It would be equivocal and postmodern for me to take that sort of approach and , hence, it would be wrong to do so. A work of art should be interpreted in a way congruent with the initial intent of the artist when they designed it .
