yet some are still blind
to the ways of mankind
it’s sad to see wars, and poverty
drugs in the community
homeless on our city streets
children with no food to eat
this world treats them so unkind
yet a light shines in the mind
with a glimmer of hope
like someone tossed a rope
to save humanity, maybe just a family
from suffering from hunger, and pain
it seems the poor loses, and the rich gains
as shots are heard, and blood stains
grow at a rapid pace
only god can save the human race
a light shines in the mind
as a prayer is heard
about how life is so absurd
songs like we shall overcome
motivate people where i come from
yet the battle continues
staring through windows
with no money to see the menu
we do what we have to do
still god’s light shines through
in the minds of many
is there hope – plenty

I walked an inner city street today and passed a homeless person much like the one in your picture, sleeping in a sunny spot on the grass in a little park next to a childless playground. The thought struck me that options are for the privledged. The vast majority of humanity are just trying to make it through another day. Would you agree?
KEITH R. WILL... replied
yes they are, but some forget and pass the unfortunate by in their journey to sucess

Much love to you too Keith dear…
