I remember when i was in college, and the good old days, and the fun we had.
one great memory is the little green man who chilled with my friends, and i especially when we shared the good times. It all started in our room on campus when we’d sit around drinking beer, and smoking weed, or the fellas just having fun joking around. i remember the first time i saw him nobody believed he was there, and we’d just laugh at them because they didn’t believe. We would be entertaining the ladies, and he would just come right on in. I would always speak of course Hey! what’s up man!! how’s life treating you? i would say, and he’d reply oh the same old same yo! we would conversate about everything, and nobody else could hear him but me, and of course everybody else thought i was crazy. It didn’t bother me i knew he was real. My roommates name was Mac, and he used to laugh his head off while i was talking to my little friend. The little green man, and I used to laugh at him too, and he would say look at the idiot laughing his life away, and i say i know but he’s cool. Cool!! the little man replied more like a fool!! Naw he’s no fool i’d reply yeah i know he said i’ve seen his girl, and damn she’s a cutie. we’d start laughing, and joking about alot of things from women to my classes which sometimes he’s attend. I didn’t know if he was checking up on me, or trying to get a education, but we’d laugh in class too! Then one day it happened I don’t know if it was the weed he was smoking, or the beer he was drinking but Mac saw him, and he panicked at first. Keith!! man i must be high as shit man! he said. I laughed and said why? I see the little green man, and he’s laughing at me!! he replied. Go on Mac quit playing!! that’s my boy, and then i saw it was true. He was in the corner drinking a beer, and laughing at Mac. I said what’s so funny! Man he almost shit his pants when he saw me he said. Mac said aw! that’s so damn funny!!! you scared the shit out of me Yeah don’t you think it’s funny the little green man laughed. All this time i thought you were joking around, and he’s real Mac said. Now who’s the dummy the little green man replied. He’s got a smart ass mouth on him too!! Mac said. Yeah that’s my boy i answered. Then Mac, and the little green man started talking, and talking about everything, and i learned more about both of them in a hour than i ever thought possible. The little green man had a family, two little boys, and a beautiful wife he said. They grew up in Ohio, and had been there most their lives, the main thing that irritated them was that leprechaun shit!! If anybody saw them they always wanted some damn pot of gold, and he said he wish he knew one so they would leave him the fuck alone. Man we laughed so hard, and had so many good times together. He wouldn’t visit everyday, but when he did he was welcome because he could light up a room with joy, and laughter. One day he brought the family by, and his wife was beautiful, and the kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. I had just met this gorgeous girl named Paula, and they were mad at me because i spent alot of time with her, but hey she was fine. The little green man always joked about me being pussywhipped, and always had Mac falling on the floor laughing. One spring break i took them home with me, and his family always talks about the hood, and how rough it is. We just had fun, and i miss him, sometimes i hit him up on his cell, and talk for hours about everything under the stars. Yeah we say!! the good old days
