IS GEORGE BUSH A MURDERER

now that is the question running through the minds of the american people, and since there were no weapons of mass destruction, a very valid one at that. We are fighting a senseless war in Iraq, and our mothers, fathers, and children are dying daily. I understand the war or terrorism, but did this country use it as an excuse to terrorize innocent countries? We are in Afghanistan from the bombing of the twin towers, and threatening to go into Iran, so the question becomes are we seeking their oil, or are we afraid of nuclear advancement in the wrong hands? America is spending millions of dollars on the military while the homeless are dying on the streets in this country. he vetoed healthcare, and i’m gone give your opinion

I agree our troops need to come home but I am not going to call the President of the United States Of America a murderer. We would have to also look at the Senate, Congress and we the people that backed this in the beginning. Our troops do as he says and I am not about to down them GOD BLESS THEM ALL! Sorry.

Strong words. Just because someone criticizes the war and the President does NOT mean that he/she is putting down our troops as individuals.

Is President Bush a murderer? Well I suppose that depends on who you ask. If you ask any Bush supporter, the answer is a resounding “NO.” If you ask the people or Iraq and Afghanistan, the answer will most like be a definite “YES.”

If our media were permitted to show the gory images of men, women and children blown to bits by U.S. bombs and guns, most Americans would lose their taste for war. But alas, we are not allowed to see the real truth of war. The true horror is cleaned up and cleaned out before the 6 o’ clock news.

The problem is the US is happy to denigrate states that dont follow the democratic way and adhere to certain treaty’s (in the case of Venezuela) but is prepared to ally themselves with similar states when it suits them or when it puts them against another state which possess an interest for US foreign policy. People dont take too well to hypocracy, well some people, most will just take what they aret told without researching and gathering information. The US by definition is a terrorist state and I think the only state convicted of terrorist law by the World Court (another world organisation they ignored). Let me know if I am wrong here but I am 94% sure.

are we terrorists, claiming to be fighting a war on terrorism, now that’s a very interesting question? the answer is sadly yes!!! hypocrites using other countries problems to rob them of there natural resources. In Africa, The Middle East, Asia, South America, and yes even Europe this country manipulates economy, war, and the rights of humanity. Who are we to tell the world not to advance while our borders overflow with illegal aliens from all countries. It’s sad we can’t take care of home, as much as we pretend to help the world

Were the children born and raised with guns in their hands before Busch stepped in? They have been killing each other for years. How about the women? What about the abuse they suffered before Busch stepped in? I have questions too. I agree war is not the answer, but we cannot have day without night, can we?

  • KEITH R. WILLIAMS

KEITH R. WILL..., 4 months ago

day, and night are inevitible, and life & death seem to be the same, thought about like some weird cliche just floating around in the wind. the children weren’t born with guns they were given to them, or they got them off the streets, and the fact we’ve been killing each other for years doesn’t excuse the administration for killing innocent people. some say genocide is just a way to control over population. my question is who decides which race, which religion, which sex, which belief must die

In the UK we have the health service and in my opinion and that of the person in the street it is failing badly. There are constant cut backs and closures. Today the radio news is reporting the new issue of u.k. maternity hospitals which are turning away women in labour because the units are full to capacity due to hospital and ward closures. We have such a high rate of deaths in hospitals from super bugs killing many who have gone in for minor operations which were non life threatening….....if the hospitals were clean. So why are we able to follow bush into Iraq etc and how can we spend billions on weapons etc….. it’s easy we spend our health service money on murdering innocents in foreign lands, we spend our education money on murdering innocents in foreign lands and the government would spend every last coin we have doing the same thing so long as bush keeps mentioning our special friendship with the United States. If there was any justice in this world blair and bush would be answering charges of genocide and as there is not I pray that at some point in time those writing and teaching history will tell the truth about these times. I don’t believe for one second that this is all about fighting terror it is about greed. I honestly believe as one from outside your country that the only hope for the world at this time is for Barack Obama to become President. I feel so sorry for the military personnel for I’m sure the greater majority are in there to avoid unemployment, make something of themselves and protect their country.. These are all valid reasons and they should be praised greatly they should not be lied to and then made to fight and die in an illegal war. May God protect them all and quickly return them to their families.

  • KEITH R. WILLIAMS

KEITH R. WILL..., 4 months ago

that is the god honest truth, and our soldiers are there because of financial reasons, and to have them there risking their lives for nothing is absurd. As the death toll rises, and more parents die, and cry i believe bush & blair should be tried as was criminals.
One person said they signed up to fight, and that is true, but i’m sure they thought their leaders were just. the cries of god bless america seem to fall on a deaf ear, but i know change is coming

When has the US ever spent enough on social welfare?

Unfortunately the US government has for decades been spending this money on arming, training, funding, and generally propping up unsavoury regimes like the Taliban and Saddam Hussein… proving only that my enemy’s enemy, is not necessarily my friend.

I know the children weren’t born with guns silly. Figure of speech. These children there are trained to kill. That is what Im saying. We dont have anything to do with that. And whats up with the religion over there? Its where the antichrist resides. I dont think its about who decides what dies and what lives. They were meant to kill each other. Its been about war over there for many, many years. And the question about who decides. Decide for yourself. You have no control. Its sad, but true.

i don’t think you can call bush a murderer or a terrorist for that matter. he has made some big mistakes but so does every other president we have had. that is a really tuff job and i don’t think people realize how hard it is to make those kinds of decisions. he is doing what he thinks is best for our country and theirs, you can’t really judge what he does because you aren’t under the same amount of stress and pressure that he is. it’s just not fair! yes people have died, and yes more will die. but how many people are alive because we got involved in the middle east? instead of asking yourself how messed up the world is or how horrible the people in it are, try asking yourself what good has come out of the situation.

If you or anyone else is interested in reading about a different perspective that actually links Saddam to Al Qaeda then check out this article

    A Sample of Quotes:

The Iraqi Perspectives Project (IPP) review of captured Iraqi documents uncovered strong evidence that links the regime of Saddam Hussein to regional and global terrorism.

The actual report goes on to detail that, despite having examined only 15% of the documents (although they also examined all of the English document titles), they found solid links to al-Qaeda number two Ayman al-Zawahiri’s Egyptian Islamic Jihad, al-Qaeda spokesman and Imam Sheik Omar Abdul-Rahman’s Islamic Group, al-Qaeda’s Bahranian arm known as the Army of Mohammed, the Islamic Movement of Kurdistan which was the forerunner of al-Qaeda in Iraq, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar who was a key ally of Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan and the Abu Sayyaf group, another al-Qaeda affiliate in the Philippines. In particular, on page 42 of the report they acknowledge that “Saddam supported groups that either associated directly with al Qaeda (such as the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, led at one time by bin Laden’s deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri) or that generally shared al Qaeda’s stated goals and objectives.

that’s interesting islamic alliances between arab countries, but did you stop to think what started the hatred towards america. is it just the alliance with Isreal, or the military involvement in islamic countries throughout the middle east. Lets see Iran, iraq, Sudan,Kuwait, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, and the list goes on. so for you to quote some propaganda if i spelled that right! that shows islamic involvement between nations that are islamic is ridiculous. Al -Qaeda is definitely a strong terrorist group, and it’s branches were even found in America. The war on terrorism is to say the least a cover-up for genocide. No weapons of mass destruction, No Bin Laden, just bodies lying on the ground in Islamic countries. no wonder hatred is rampant, and i’m not justifying terror, and we must defend this country against it. It’s simply this if we as americans would have listened to lies our leaders fed us we would not be there, but propaganda there goes that word again is spread even by our government

  • karolina

Ok so you see the info I quoted from the Iraqi Perspective Project as propaganda and I see it as a report that links Saddam to Al Qaeda. But did you actually read the whole article?
If you’re up for a little bit more reading regarding conclusions from the report then check this out too
And yes I’ve thought about both sides here… just thought I’d share an additional perspective from the under-represented side. And I do realize that there’s propaganda out there, don’t get me wrong. But can’t you acknowledge that it can come from both sides?

The number of US service people killed is given as 4000 but over here mention is made that it is a false figure. I now understand that it only relates to actual battlefield deaths it does not include those badly injured who died being transported to or in field hospitals. Neither does it include deaths whilst being transported to or in hospitals in Germany. I wonder what you have been told about this and if you feel that the 4000 figure is correct.

We are never told about the numbers of our service people who are badly injured and have as a result had their lives destroyed but we are sure it has to be in the thousands.

We are certainly never told about those who have psychiatric ill health resulting from post traumatic stress etc in battle zones and who are left alone back home to cope without help and equally their famalies who suffer and will continue to suffer.

We are also never told of an actual figure or even an estimate of those who find they can’t cope on returning home and either end up living on the streets or in prison.

The numbers reported as being killed are bad enough but what is that figure actually hiding.

For God’s sake America vote OBAMA

  • KEITH R. WILLIAMS

KEITH R. WILL..., 3 months ago

of coursre we do not know the actual numbers the first thing i was taught in mass media communications was nations tell their citizens what they want them to hear, and it’s good u can read between the lines. Our soldiers go through hell, and back for this country, and are so disrespected even here at home. You wouldn’t believe how many are homeless. and friendly fire isn’t mentioned either. They battle all types of illnesses both mental & physical changing the way I myself look at America, and it’s hunger for money. While the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer there needs to be a change that’s why Obama is my choice. Not because I’m African American but the message of change

In general, those in power organise wars to increase their power and wealth. They brainwash, and pay, the poor to kill other poor people so they can get rich. It’s as simple as that. I am not an American. I am Scottish, but have lived in the middle east for 5 years and now in switzlerland. Watching Bush and Blair, they have issued the orders to kill. A question about nuclear power in the wrong hands—America is the only one who has ever killed with atomic bombs.

We are all brainwashed by our governments and the media. The people of Iraq were suppressed and exploited by Saddam. He made their lives miserable. But how does killing them stop that?

Surely powerful people in America have kept America at work for decade upon decade. They must have shares in arms or in oil companies—like the Bush family.

Do Americans really believe they do the world a favour by invading countries and killing people?

  • KEITH R. WILLIAMS

KEITH R. WILL..., 2 months ago

hell no as a american we do not believe in invading other countries, as a citizen we wish our government would invest more energy at home then abroad. It’s a shame that prior administrations of this country have used the white house for monetary, and political gain. we are apalled by the theivery, and the embarrassment the Bush era has brought upon this great nation. We are striving to become a more better racial, religous, and nonbiased country by our leaders are the biggest fuck ups ever
