Portrait of a Warmblood.
Challengette is a 23 yr old Holsteiner. Her sire was the Oaks stallion, Challenger and her grandsire the famous Cor de la Bryere. She is a gentle, patient horse who is a retired broodmare and hunter. She has spent the last 5 years teaching me how to ride. My first horse and the love of my life.

Challengette appears to be in the prime of her life for a twenty three year old. I also have a twenty three year old, probably the last one of my career. I treasure every ride, as I am sure you do also. The older ones can teach you so much!
Thank you I do treasure every moment with her. Unfortunately she is on stall rest from a torn flexor tendon – so not much riding for the next few months. Too much fun in the pasture…she forgets her age, running around the hill kicking up her heels. We just got approval from the vet to walk around on the flat bareback, so looking forward to that.
