Holding Yards Outback Australia by

I took this ariel shot from a hot air balloon whilst drifting over a large cattle holding yard about 35kl from Alice Springs in the heart of Outback Australia.
The huge road train looked like a kiddies toy from up there.

    Great shot Ronald!

  • Hi Torfinn, how are you old redbubble friend, we have certainly been commenting on each others photographs for a long time now.
I loved seeing this landscape looking down from the basket of the hot air ballon, it seemed quite sureal in the middle of the red earth desert.

    A beautiful earthy patchwork.

  • What a wonderful description you gave this photograph Christine, I could hear the mournful bellowing of the cattle as we floated by overhead.
