ULURU THE STORM APPROACHES by

Thunder was rolling across the plains from Mt Connor across to Uluru

The rains were starting to fall and excitement was in the air

I was the only person out there, wonderful to sojurn to the Territory when it’s out of season for tourists

A large extroidinary loud clap of thunder that seemed to go forever prompted me to press the shutter

Fantastic image and colours…..what time of year was it ?

  • July Hans, and it rained solid for 10 days, the road to Alice Springs was cut for 12 hours and we had heavy rain going south well past Coober Pedy.
    Cheers

    It hardly ever rains there.
I look forward to viewing your images.
Don’t forgett the roadhouse with the great lamingtons and hot apple pie, turn left at Cadney Station on the road to Uluru, can’t remember if it’s before or after Mt Connor.
