The pleasure was all mine Kylie, this shot was taken in one of Australias most prestigous privately owned gardens which stretches over many acres in rural Victoria.
oh wow, loved the photo but the JC song took me back a few years…
I have always loved opium poppies, not for the evil and stupidity that man has betrayed them with, but for the total beauty of texture and colour that they hold, I still remember my mum growing them in the early 70’s and looking in wonder at the colours from my “knee high to a grasshopper” height as the sun made them petals glow like jewels, thank you for reminding me of that small pleasure :o)
