Scientist by training, teacher by profession and photographer at heart. Irish by ancestry, English by birth and upbringing with an intention to retire to Australia. Life is neither dull nor static – it is full of contrasts and contradictions, it continually evolves in order to survive and in doing so it brings us both heartbeak and joy.
I like peace and quiet, the yellow light of early morning or late evening and the dreamy hum of insects on a sunny, English hillside in summer.
I aspire to create art in photographs but this is a new path on life’s long journey and there is no map…
LATEST: Jan 12th I arrive in Brisbane to start the latest leg of life’s long journey. I am moving to be with family and to restart my teaching career. The wonderful thing about having no map on the journey is that you never know where the path will take you and it is almost always better than you can imagine.
