“Welcome to Australia Sir!
Why on earth do you want to come and live in this God Forsaken Place for?”

Ignoring that remark I smiled, took back my passport collected my baggage and then skipped and danced through Arrivals and out into the welcoming embrace of my new home.

I remember saying to myself…

“Yes Welcome to Australia indeed sir!”

Amazing image! Your use of the tones, light and movement here is wonderful. It’s almost like a ballet. Wonderful, clever image!

Thankyou, I took the image about 5 years ago now. I’ve had it on my hard drive and almost dismissed it as I slightly missed focus due to the low light. Taken at Maynards Well Station, Far North Outback South Australia
