Life sometimes hands one a challenge that looks a lot like imprisonment but turns out to be the cocoon from which a glorious butterfly emerges. This pen and marker drawing was inspired by just such an agonizing period. Hopefully, the liberated creature is a beautiful butterfly and not a wool-eating moth.

    I love the concept.
We all go through metamorphosis in life.
    A true butterfly is rare.

  • We can but aspire to be that butterfly, but many of us are more naturally moths.
