Once upon a time, we owned this property. I was only six years old at the time. Nostalgia crept in, as memories flooded my mind, as I took photographs. My favorite place in the winter, during snowstorms, was the barn. Even though it had just a small hill, it was big enough for mini me to sled on. Hanging from a large tree, to the side of the house, was a huge tire swing, that I would happily swing on as I looked up and reached for the skies. An old General Store was a short walk up the road. My brother and I bought comic books there every week. The General Store is now a restaurant. I don’t know who’s idea it was, but for some reason, we grew Rhubarb. I couldn’t stand it and my dear Grammy was always making Rhubarb pies – ughh…I just couldn’t figure out why she always had to make them Rhubarb! Alfred, our pet mouse got lost somehow. We thought he might have been hiding out behind the refridgerator and put pieces of lettuce down to try to coax him out. No luck was there…However, he did come flying out of a cereal box when my Mom went to fix us breakfast! Ah, once upon a time…:)) This photograph was shot with a Canon 40D in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA.
