It's All in the Eyes by Polly Peacock

This guy was so danged funny. He was part of a reenactment during Calfornia Gold Rush Days, located in Old Town Sacramento, California. The whole lot of actors were drinking what appeared to be big bottles of Whiskey, however I found out afterwards that it was really iced tea. How do I know? I couldn’t smell booze on his breath!

When his eyes bulged out into gigantically large orbs, we found ourselves laughing deep from the gut! The funniest part was that when I went out later that same evening, taking some evening photos of Sacramento’s Golden Bridge. I heard a voice call to me and sure enough, there he was! My immediate response to him was, “Wow, you look sort of normal!” His friends got a big kick out of that and soon started to joke with him, saying that he was anything but normal! Heck, what is normal anyway? Here’s looking at you friend, if you ever see this picture!!

My life is like a well read book that’s never ending, at least for this moment in time. As I continually add new chapters to my book, I find that my photography plays a big part in it. This is most especially true as my great love and fascination with Mother Naure never wanes. It’s my hope that you, too, will share my joy as the pages in my book of life continue to flip forward! My Very Best, Polly Peacock

I love this one! We do some street shootouts here in my area and I always have to play the Drunken Troublemaker. Everyone says I’m way to ugly to portray a good guy, and yes, I do use sweet tea.

Fantastic… This is great.. you should add it to ‘the eyes have it’ group.

  • Thanks Rosemaree – this guy was hysterical! I thought I had added it to the eyes group, but was mistaken, so I’m glad that you said someting!
