These guys were shot. Yup, the Marshall was shot too. The funniest part about it was that when someone would say a certain word, the dead men would come to life, lift their hats off the ground, chest, face, etc. and all say, “Code of the west!” Of course, they would immediately fall back down into the same exact position, hats and all. This photograph was taken during the reenactment of Gold Rush Days located in Old Town Sacramento, California.

My life is like a well read book that’s never ending, at least for this moment in time. As I continually add new chapters to my book, I find that my photography plays a big part in it. This is most especially true as my great love and fascination with Mother Naure never wanes. It’s my hope that you, too, will share my joy as the pages in my book of life continue to flip forward!
