Ah, my new gentlemen friends! The owner of the wagon on the right, graciously allowed me to ride next to him (where Hoss is sitting)! As a Draft Horse Teamster, he was extremely knowledgable about Califorina history. My camera was just a snip snapping away like there was no tomorrow! I think this is one of my favorite pictures. Not only do I feel the gratitude for making such great new friends, but also, this picture reminds me of an old western movie that I would have watched as a young girl. Here’s looking at ya Boss and Hoss!! You’re looking mighty good too! This photograph was shot during the reenactment of Gold Rush Days in Old Town Sacramento, California with a Canon XTI 75-300mm zoom.

My life is like a well read book that’s never ending, at least for this moment in time. As I continually add new chapters to my book, I find that my photography plays a big part in it. This is most especially true as my great love and fascination with Mother Naure never wanes. It’s my hope that you, too, will share my joy as the pages in my book of life continue to flip forward! My Very Best, Polly Peacock
