A Prayer To our Haitian Friends:
For those who have risen to Eternity, our hearts belong to you and the white light that we witness from your ascension.
For those who are left behind, may your memories be full of love and gratitude for their time on Earth.
May you both find miracles in Eternity, here and on Earth.
Amen.

My life is like a well read book that’s never ending, at least for this moment in time. As I continually add new chapters to my book, I find that my photography plays a big part in it. This is most especially true as my great love and fascination with Mother Naure never wanes. It’s my hope that you, too, will share my joy as the pages in my book of life continue to flip forward! My Very Best, Polly Peacock

  • Thanks Laura! I was on a cruise ship, which is how I got the height! When I caught the seagul flying toward the rising sun, I knew that I had just shot a great photo! I wish I felt that way about all of them!!

Polly, please can you give me some more information on the focal length of this beautiful image as 70mm isn’t wide angle but the sunrays have a nice effect. I would so love to add it to the WIDE ANGLE PHOTOGRAPHY Group. Polly :)

  • It’s a 35 to 70mm wide angle zoom lens – hope that helps? Thanks to the other Polly – how cool!! LOL!!!

Hi again Polly – I can’t find a 35-70mm wide angle lens on the internet can you provide a link as I’m a little confused about the focal length. Sorry to be a Polly pain!! :)

  • My apologies – I just looked at it – it is a Canon 35-55mm lens with a 58mm 0.5 angle wide lens attached to it – hope this is what you need!!
