Chester County Day located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA has become a yearly tradition for generations of Chester County residents and visitors. This year was it’s 73rd year! Usually held on the first October weekend, Chester County Day starts off with an early morning fox hunt. This rider had no idea that both she and her Horse were posing. Both the Horses and Hounds are stunning! As you can see from this photograph, they are top notch!
PLEASE NOTE * Foxhunts in Chester County are done for sport only. If the Hounds pick up a scent they will chase the fox until it goes into Earth (a foxhole). There is absolutely no harm done to the fox/foxes that are being chased.
