How can you possibly not love a face like this? This Hound was a part of a pack of dogs getting ready for a fox hunt. Out of about 30 dogs, he was the only one who seemed it fitting to lay down. He just cracked me up! All the other hounds were jumping around and full of energy. Maybe he was resting for the chase that was yet to come. I don’t know for sure, but he was “the show” as far as I was concerned!

This photograph was shot with a Canon 40D, equipped with a 18-200 mm lens in Warwick, PA, USA.

My life is like a well read book that’s never ending, at least for this moment in time. As I continually add new chapters to my book, I find that my photography plays a big part in it. This is most especially true as my great love and fascination with Mother Naure never wanes. It’s my hope that you, too, will share my joy as the pages in my book of life continue to flip forward! My Very Best, Polly Peacock

Yes, I have to agree about that face, too cute!!!

  • Thanks vigor – he was so funny, just laying there in the middle of all the other Hounds bouncing around – very nonchalant!! :))
