Baldwin's Flag
Baldwin’s Book Barn, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, is the most interesting book store that I have ever been in. An old restored barn, built in 1822, it is 5 stories high. Every story is packed with books and stories (pun intended)! Nooks and crannies with chairs and old artifacts make this barn not only an exceptional place to shop, but it is also a wonderful treasure trove for anyone who is interested in history. Many books are rare first editions. Filled with ambience, charm and rustic stone walls paired with original random width floors, the book store breathes to life an era gone by. For more information see www. bookbarn.com. This photograph was shot with a Canon 40D.

LOL – I could hardly get out of there – there were so many books that intriqued me and photography was a must!! Yes, after looking at the web site, you can see how huge this is!! This is akin to a museum in many, many ways!! There is so much history in this part of PA, due to early settlement in the late 1600’s and thankfully much of it has been lovingly restored and preserved!! xoxo!! :))
