Brian and the Spider Queen... by

Brian had travelled deep into the cavern, his way lit only by some fireflies that darted to and fro in the tunnel…deeper and deeper he went, until he came into the heart …and in the heart she sat there, the Queen of all the Spiders…
“Brian….my subjects, who see all and tell me all, have seen the way you now must go..and you must hurry, for what you seek is in grave danger…follow the path upwards and head towards the barren lands…”

If you have the time LARGE is best!
Multiple photos, the Spider Queen being a marvelous crab spider I found in one of my roses today, and the webs from my shed…!

I just had to enlarge it to see all the creepy details. Outstanding work Polly
    - I feel for this little snail ..the things he has to endure that you inflict on him ☺

  • LOL!!! I blame it all on you!! I would NEVER have been brave enough to even try this kind of work until you gave me that gentle nudge…I want everyone to know you encouraged me!!

Polly, this is fantastical. Looks like the Queen is going to have lots of little princes and princesses:) I would have used Brian as a babysitter! A most wonderful creation, dear Polly. Hugs Cat xx

  • Hi Cat!! She does look a tad full, doesn’t she…but very regal with it! I was really glad I found her..she looked friendlier than the others I saw!

This one is EXTRAORDINARY Polly! I can just see you out in the shed looking for spider webs with a torch and camera in hand. That queen spider is really creepy too! This makes you brave too. Every picture gets better even when I think that’s not possible. Great work, you have really gotten so VERY good at this.

  • The beads of sweat on my brow whenever I upload a Brian episode is getting quite bad!! I am learning tons, but boy does that little snail test me LOL!!
    :)))))))
    Huge hugs Chris!

I really do not like spiders but the Queen looks a friendly, but somewhat creepy , spider – poor Brian has certainly had some adventures, but the barren lands? ….is there no other way?

  • Nope…although they might not be quite so barren after the rain we have been having today…..LOL!!
