A Perfect Pair: Ankle Deep Chairs
Taken at Hurricane Psychiatric Center [1910-1984] New York, USA on a patient sun-porch in Building 25.
Two dusty chairs defy the elements in the midst of Hurricane Hannah.
What a metaphor. Sometimes, when the dark, soaking winds of chaos are whipping through your life, you just need someone there with you. Someone there to stand in the water next to you and tell you that everything is going to be just fine. Someone there with you to raise collective voices and to scream defiantly into the face of the hurricane and stand your ground together.
What strength a person can derive from knowing that no matter what Nature may conjure, there’s always someone there with you, ankle deep and just as defiant as you are.

very neat – great capture of reflections. trying to figure out whether you used hdr or raw adjustments, either way i like your solid capture of a tricky exposure.

All RAW & Dodge and burn. Although a lot of people have told me my post processing style has a bootleg HDR feel to it. Thank you for the words, sir.
Katherine Ande...
