Then I wiped away the tears
With a lil persuasive talk I assured her that everything would be okay
What can I say I’m a human with flaws
So is she we’re not perfect
Things are going to go wrong and it may seem like it’ll never get right
Through hard times we must find the strength to move forward
Ask ourselves will we let this rough edge we’ve come across
That jagged knife which is a part of life stab us
And let the feelings enroute through our veins bleed out
Take time to answer gather your thoughts
You may try and exercise your options
Do you wanna test those waters again
It’s polluted don’t wanna catch an incurable sea sickness
So together we decide to accept the imperfect being we’re with
Eventually again the days will be long and lovely nights hot and heavy
We gon laugh about this years from now
Old and fragile, bones withering away
I’ll say I want to go to the heavens with you by my side

ah…this really made me feel happy…someone who believes in love which often aint pretty and willing to walk the rocky road which it always is (reality)....there is always a way to work things out though when you love someone and they are especially special to you. beautifully written. love it.

PG, this is the gritty real love in life… knowing that things aren’t like a romance novel, there are ups and downs and you can drive each other mad, and that knowledge giving the power to muddle through it. Very nicely done.
