WOW… just look at all of that snow….
    .
Over here we are melting very quickly… 40 plus F. and extreme bush-fires in Tasmania
    with homes being lost everywhere…
Snow doesn’t catch on fire, and that’s what I love about it…

  • OH! That is so sad Larry…Thanks for appreciating my photo !!!!

    – Poete100

  • I mean sad about the bush fires…and your weather? Isn’t it summer now in Australia???
We got snow here also not just in Canada…but less than them…I like it though….

Yes it is Summer… Dec to Feb.
And I can remember , even back to the early 1950’s, when we got temperatures around 45.F at Xmas.
So nothing has changed…. But things are looking a lot better.. Click Here

  • Thanks for the link and info…the planet’s weather is so changed since when I was a child…
Love the photo they have of the man walking away from the fire…

It is nice that the sky cleared up for some of your trip Lorraine……yep looks like winter there….we still have green grass down here…..Love the misty forground created by the heat from the flame….Beautiful blue sky…:-)

  • Love that Misty forground also …thanks Thomas… That was the only day we had sun and it was gorgeous but very cold!!! The sky was cloudless too… as you can see!!!!!

  • You’re so welcome John…I also love their pens…they do write well…Yours is brand new of course and never been use except by you in the package it came in….I’ve belong to that organization for years now!
About the Parliament House…I photographed it many times and chose that particular one for the flame forground and less people…IT’s always mobbed of people there…The only thing missing…RCMP…woulld have to go back in warm weather for them :-)

  • Second building I like the capture also…but the third building I messed up by not capturing in when I was level with the center of it and therefore when I realized my mistake my brother was ready to go because he was cold and wanted to leave…humm what could I do??? I can sustain cold for a time…
(It’s that white tower building next to it I don’t like) Thanks again John xx
