Artist's Description

Red Deer Montebello, Québèc, Canada, December 28, 2013

There’s 4 types of Deer at the Oméga Wildlife in Québèc and I’ve done
my reserach to make sure…Red Deer is the second largest after the Elks
In order of sizes are Elks which are huge, Red Deer a slightly smaller,
then White Tail and then there’s the Fallow Deer…I beleive they have a
new type of which are the tiniest after the Fallow Deer and is
almost white and for that info I need to do more research…
Because Elks and Red Deer are so close in size you can tell
the difference by the colors …Elks head are darker and bodies lighter,
Red Deer are darker bodies in color and heads are almost greyish in tone…
I beleive Elks racks are more impressive…soon to post them
