Love this, the tones and the dark dead space all make for a powerful image !

Thanks. Yeah, I usually don’t do such dark photos like this, but I guess it’s my mood.

Ah, there could be a crime story developed from this! Wise and wonderful choice of selective coloring….. love it! :-))
pmistric replied
Thanks…so funny you mention a crime story. It did happen at the time I took the shot. And the story goes…my family and I went camping and we had our stuff in our tent. We go in our kayak for a little cruise and when we came back someone had stolen my husband’s fishing tackle box. He had a lot in that box, probably costing around 50-75 dollars worth. We saw this canoe parked across our site..so my husband went looking inside the canoe, but found nothing and also arund the area near the canoe. Every time he would see this photo it would remind him of that day, so I decided to photoshop this photo and make it mysterious. We never found the tackle box, so hence Mystique.

I wish I knew how to do this! being new to RB of course I have no idea about how to do “selective colouring” as everyone is calling it, but it looks fantastic!
pmistric replied about 1 month ago
Thanks..once you get photoshop..you’ll learn this technique and it’s quite fun.
