Welcome to The Perfect Wave Gallery – these are my awesome images… Capturing the world as I see it when I was there… the look, the feel, the awesomeness that is around us… My images are typically created using the camera hand held (or resting on a rock!), without filters and minimal post processing… this keeps them real… the world’s got some seriously awesome stuff around so please enjoy… and if you’re so inclined you can buy – choose your fave, choose the product or format, add to your cart and away you go! They do look great hanging on a wall!!!!

This is my gallery and you can follow along for more awesome images as I travel and go about day to day on Instagram by following @perfectwavegallery.

2016 is going to see a resurgence of spectacular images capturing and sharing the world as I see it! The Perfect Wave Gallery is growing off the basis of my seascapes that began around 2008/2009 when we lived in Coolangatta, Queensland the Mecca of Australian surfing and some of the best waves you’ll find anywhere. What began as the Perfect Wave Gallery is evolving and changing as we all do in life and will now feature not just seascapes… The Perfect Wave Gallery will capture the journey as I see it.

Here’s a short history of the origins of my journey to create stunning images.

2011 – 2015: Somewhat of a break while life happened!!!!

16 October 2011: Since Nov 2010 my photography has taken a back seat to other activity in our lives, not the least of which has been training for an Ironman Triathlon and supporting family, in particular helping my eldest boy Josh as he faces and conquers “life” with Autism…

The roots of “The Perfect Wave Gallery” – from 2009: As I sat looking through my profile I realised why these pictures and this awesome environment (surf beaches) mean so much to me… it’s because this is the world that Josh thrives in… it gives him life and has taught him so very, very much…

As has always been the case, I truly hope you enjoy looking through my images and that they find a special place for you, I’m staggered by the number of images that people have fallen in love with so much that they have been willing to part with hard earned cash to buy and I hope that if you find an image (or two) that you can find meaning in, they may also find a place in your home or workplace, or tee-shirt or pillow or iPhone case, if not, that’s OK, please just enjoy!!!

Cheers,
Paul

Here’s my faves…

Something Different ~ What do you think??

While we were in Hawaii earlier this year we made the walk up to the Manoa Falls behind Honolulu, through the Bamboo Forrest ~ it was a pretty awesome walk and of course the camera came along. Looking through my images I found these that I took along the walk, the flora absolutely capitivated me and I really loved these images. Of course they don’t fit with my normal style of waves so I h…
