16 January 2010 – Behind the rocks at Snapper
This has to have been one of the most stunning summer days I’ve seen for along time… stinking hot, around 30 degrees real early, gentle offshore winds and hardly a wave in sight. The one spot that is getting a few waves was here behind the rocks at Snapper and the local bodyboard crew had all assembled. The wave breaks right onto the rock so if you get waves close enough together and they break at just the right time, the incoming wave collides with the outgoing waves and whoosh you get this awesome fantail. Well today the bodyboarders were making the most of it ~ Yeeew!!!!!
