In other words, when reason is not employed, expect calamity to result.
I was a big fan of Goya in my big fan of gruesome art days right before my big fan of Dali days and more recently my enormous fan of Maeck days. I see here a hook and sleeping shadow… hmmmmm … that conjures interpretations in itself but then again I may have to dust off my big fan of Freud days palava

  • In other words, when reason is unemployed, or employed, expect catastrophe, or calamity, within reason, up to a point, in other words, gruesomely, or perhaps not, or bats and monkeys, in your dreams, or in the zoo, or on the analyst’s couch, “I’m cool as a cucumber,” sang Freud.
