…sighing…love this! You’re so well-traveled Peter. xxx
yes indeed, the very Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice, shot from a gondola. I nipped over for the weekend, impulsive traveler that I am.
yes…. sigh purple and brown go well together
oh thank goodness you like purple and brown together as I just bought brown socks to wear with my purple suit.
I wonder Peter whether anyone caught the curves in the reflection BEHIND the purple curtain which are actually as reminiscent of the bridge of sighs as anything else in this phenomenally creative and evocative image. And yes…I can see it well. How I love your vision, my friend…you’ve simply no idea. xoxox
yes, what further wonders or horrors lurk behind the purple veil! i’m happy you peered through that lavender gauze, for that is where the real story lies. thanks as always and ever, lianne.
You are a superman of natural captures as what you do Peter you will be just so good and all will be beautiful you have the goodness of all all love and thanks Normajean.
I do like natural captures because natural captures submit best to careful and artful post-processing. While I do try to sharpen the visual drama in editing, I try to avoid the editing drawing attention to itself. Well, most of the time anyway. Well, some of the time. No, to be honest, sometimes, post-processing is so much fun that it can’t help but draw attention to itself! The play’s the thing! Pictures can be visual circuses as much as documentary records. I guess we all seek the best of both.
I still think my picture of the bridge(of sighs) is better.
