Your eye never rests eh? You play?.btw most excellent work.
I’m self-instructed. The trouble with us autodidacts, though, is we have lousy teachers.
– Peter Maeck
I did like the first version better, more warm but it is your feeling and choice ofcourse ! I love warm spanish acoustic guitars. Nothing like that sound…I still have mine but didn’t play for years now… !A beautiful close up from a beautiful instrument. I searched for the definition, translation of serpentine but found so many different definitions… xoxo
Well, now I’ve gone and made a third (fourth?) version. Not exactly a warm tonal treatment this time, but a little color, a moonlight hue. Your feedback has been very helpful, thank you as always.
like my “out of sync” nice concept
Your ‘out of sync" is a much finer work than my “Serpentine.” Your “out of sync” is a marvel, in fact. I don’t think I had ever before seen that picture of yours. I thank you very much for likening my picture here to yours, mainly because I am flattered by the comparison.
Not being a player myself.. well, not being a guitar player, heh heh… I would never have guessed what this is. A few thousand eons ago, aged 15, I bought myself a second-hand spanish guitar for $15, made woeful noises for a few weeks, and that was it. My teacher was obviously much lousier than yours.
I don’t know which is a loftier goal, being a good player or being a good guitar player. Of course some people are both. I cannot identify with those people. Those people have it all. Those people are adored by the multitudes. Those people live in the fast lane and don’t get speeding tickets. Those people are autodidacts with the best teachers in the world. Those people make me depressed.
well, whatever … it is all in the eye of the beholder … your concept, if it did include the notion of being different, scored. And, for the recored, use the same type of strings, will ya … We are on a boat trip and I forgot my guitar … this is the closest I will get to one. Thanks
