You have such a quirky mind Peter – lol – but then…you put it to such good use in amazing shots like this one. The way you’ve used the light here certainly brings out the detail beautifully and gives this the look of some alien space creature! Love this my friend – and only you could make me – lol!

  • My first impression, like yours, was that this was some alien life form. In my mind it was one of those grotesque, spiky, spiny, toothy creatures of the ocean depths. Then I thought of Gershwin.

Fantastic shot, clever you, I love the title and the song, well done again my friend !! liefs, anna

  • Gershwin ultimately seemed more appropriate than Bach or Mozart. I considered Beethoven. I’m sure you know that Beethoven’s father was one-half Flemish, and his grandfather was fully Flemish. That makes me proud.

No, I thought he was German… Yes, that makes me proud also !!
    xxx

  • He was born and lived in Germany but he had some Flemish blood from his ancestors. For inspiration, stimulation, and sheer transcendant pleasure, Beethoven is for me the greatest artist who ever lived of any type.

He certainly stays one of the best ! He had the spirit and passion for his art. Even when he became deaf he had the drive to go on… Did you see the movie " Immortal beloved " with Gary Oldman as Beethoven ?

  • No, I haven’t seen Immortal Beloved but after your tip and some very good reviews I just read I will rent it.
