Very touching… and involving… Beautiful moment! Great photography!

  • Thanks for stopping by my gallery. You live in Peru? And you grew up in Belorussia? There must be an interesting story behind your travels – and obviously a lot of great photo opportunities.

Inbetween I lived in Norway for several years. Most of my life I spent in Belarus where I was born and grow up, but last 6 months I´ve spend in Lima. I´m staying here for a while, since I´m married with peruvian. So I´m pretty sure some good shots are comig. Peru is colorful and very crazy, always happens smt unexpected.. :)

  • Tracey, I wrote you the following reply many months ago but mistakenly placed it in the comment box rather than the reply box, so I’m sure it never reached you. It’s still valid, though, and so here it is:
Thanks so much for your comment. It’s interesting you saw this picture today because I’d had it up in a black and white version but just reverted it to color this morning. I’m not sure which version I think is more effective but I’m glad you liked the color one. I see in your personal statement that you support and promote children’s rights and welfare, and seek to ameliorate the plight of the poor. I do, too, and so do my son and daughter who are college students. My son in particular is pursuing a career in immigrants’ rights and my daughter is working for the rights of women and children worldwide. I’ve only just scanned your own gallery so far but can see your deep human sympathy in your work, in particular your “Bow Your Head.” Again, thanks for looking at my pictures and, by doing so, giving me the cue to look at yours.

This picture touched my heart deeply.

  • Then it has done all I hoped it could do. You’re very kind to write this note.
