He seems so sad and lonely. It’s almost as is his head is so large because it’s full of saddness and its weighing him down. This is good, I like how it makes you think. You wonder what he’s reading and why.

Sara2442 brought up a good point. What is he reading and why. It does make you wonder.

This is a sad piece but I think it’s done so well that the viewer isn’t overwhelmed by the sadness. They can take in the artistic expression without being overpowered by the mood. Very nice how you balanced to two.

You are very talented Bridgett… I adore your style and desperately want to see more. There’s a faint Nightmare Before Christmas feel to your work, which i love, yet your images expel so much more emotion, create a great deal more meaning and are just generally more appealing… And I never thought i would hear myself say that!

It is incredible how you create those backgrounds, so much depth and texture. The ambiance here is thick and telling, and i love the expression on his (its?) face and the thickness of his flesh. Brilliant work.

a very moving body of work, so much about the solitary figure turning inward to heal the pain….....art is salvation sometimes, and blessed are those that have the great gift to tell the truth …...so others can know they are not alone.
