Carriage rides in Old Sacramento, CA (USA) are just part of the authentic nostalgia offered to tourists.
This area of Sacramento still has the original buildings of the 1800’s gold rush…now functioning as restaurants & shops.

Great way to present this one, these are all over the river front area of St. Louis also, I like how they have a poop chute between the horse and the carriage to keep from soiling the streets. Each driver has a covered five gallon plastic bucket to pick up the stuff. One of my former students owns three of the carriages and says he make really good money with them.

  • Thanks for the support & great info! Very interesting!*
