My heart ached for this transient lying on the sidewalk in Old Town, Sacramento, CA. This area of Sacramento is a highly trafficked tourist attraction and people were having to step over him to walk down the sidewalk. It is not my intent to profit by or exploit someone’s misfortune or invade their privacy…just to encourage myself & others to practice “an attitude of gratitude.”

    Funny you should say that,
My latest catchphrase with my teenagers is “Less Attitude – More Gratitude!”
This indeed is a case of “There, but for the grace of god, go I”
Thank you for visualising this wake up call to our own selves!
    Chookas! ♥

an extraordinary photograph pat… beautifully captured… oh the man’s face!! my heart falls from my chest

  • It pains me to say “thank you” for capturing someone’s misfortune…so I’ll say “I truly appreciate your concern for the homeless people”
