This one was done in Launceston’s City Park as part of a demonstration day of artists from Launceston Art Society at Festivale. The weather was superb, the crowds were friendly and the food and wine exceptional. It was quite daunting to paint with an audience – this was the result.

From watercolour to mixed media – to create is magic!

Pauline, I truly love the way you render scenes like this, with this special light of yours, this loose way of depicting people strolling, quite relaxed and all the tones used. I am very admirative of your work

  • Wow Corinne, thanks so much! The admiration is mutual and I am especially chuffed that you like this one.

Very fine art Pauline, looks like to me a crowd didn’t effect your wonderful quality at all. I do understand about painting in front of others.

  • Thanks so much Jim – wonderful comment. I’m sure that as a teacher you would get plenty of practice.
