From watercolour to mixed media – to create is magic!
I love the layout & muted tones in this. So beautiful. Your work is stunning. And I especially like all the little spots left unpainted due to the roughness of the paper whicht gives it alot of sparkle & life. I’ve never tried rough paper – maybe I should as I like the result.
Thanks for your comments, Marsha. Yes, definitely try the rough paper – it is quite different, but really fun! I have just been at a watercolour workshop where we have been using hot press – boy am I having fun!!! (not)!!

Lovely, loose and transparent watercolour. I love this, Pauline.
Cheers, Bev. Thank you so much.
wonderful watercolour….. Pure magic.[ love the paper too!] ;-))))) Gini
Cheers Gini. I usually use this paper. When you’re on a good thing … I had a go at hot press at a workshop recently. Different feel, different results, but I am tempted to try it further. When time permits …..
Absolutely stunning work! I do admire watercolour work and this is a really fine example.

Wow! This is out of this world! You really are so good! The simplicity of the trees, yet they tell the whole story – simply magnificent! And that perfect light on the water and mountains!
