I was pleased with this result of a dandelion head against a sunset I used a flash to give the flower added illumination
Taken with the nikon d-80 and the nikkor 18-135mm lens

    Its my take on the classic dandelion shot my angle was slightly off but your right the flash made the shot cool :)
