An Elf's Lament

This picture was made to represent my character, Laren, in a D&D roleplay that a friend of mine is running.

She’s playing a song titled “The Last Offensive” which is about a doomed battle between her people and the Orcs.

The elven people were in retreat, but the Orcs were following closely behind. All the elven warriors made one last stand so that the women, children, and elders could make their escape into the forest and into hiding.

Their stand was successful and the elves were able to escape, but the cost was devasting.
