Profile
I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and currently living with my kids, husband and cats in Northern Arizona. My mother language is portuguese.
I always loved to take pictures of school events when I was a teen. My dad had a Polaroid that he would hide from me all the time. Finally in 86 I won a Kodak Instamatic and that was too cool! In 1994 I took Photography classes and digital cameras were just a dream at that time!
Today, I am a stay home mom and I have a SLR digital camera and lots of fun shooting all the beauty around me. I love the nature and vibrant colors.
I am also a self taught seamstress and crafter and you will see photos related to my handmade work here, like craft and sewing supplies photographed in lovely compositions.
I won honorable mention in the March 2004 issue of Popular Photography Magazine.
