Coffee, salt and pen on watercolour paper
Bit of a crazy experimental piece really. The cat kind of “evolved” in the process.Might have to try it again at a later date with a better picture of a cat.

Wow! You certainly don’t need a second take, this turned out great Dianne! Love the highlights on the ears and face! I can just imagine a rooster in this technique!
Wonderful….I think your coffee-work is perfect!!
Thankyou so much Elizabeth. Thanks for looking. It really is a great medium to paint with. Great money saver too as it has saved me buying watercolour paints at the moment.

Wonderful painting – must try coffee some time. I think I have seen this look on my own cats and usually it means nothing good is about to happen. Fantastic, love it
Thankyou! It really is the “don’t mess with me look” which I think that a lot of us have before we have our morning coffee. I would really love to have a coffe mug with this printed on. You really should try coffee painting some time. It is heaps of fun and if it dosen’t turn out you haven’t wasted any money on paints LOL
Wow, what a fantastic painting. It has been featured in PiMT and would be an excellent entry in the upcoming challenge
The Kingdom of Animals
