Soft Pastel on Canson Mi-tients paper
This was my first ever attempt at pastels after getting a set for my birthday. It only took about an hour or so to do but I was fairly happy for a first attempt.

This is magnificent for a first attempt at pastel. You should be VERY happy! I am hopeless at flowers and I envy anyone that can paint them!
Thankyou! I had a lovely photo of this flower which I had taken years ago and had always wanted to do a picture of it. It really dosen’t compare too much to the photo, but I quite like it as a picture on it’s own. It really brightens up my room
