Antoine Khater
This one is superb, congrats one the feature
There one think I don’t quite understand how you managed 2 min exposure with little or no trails in the starts ?
Jim Worrall replied
Hi Antoine,
Regarding the movement of the stars it seems that they are revolving around a central point in the sky, .....I forget the term used for this point, ...maybe southern axis or similar.
The stars on the outer frame have a trails that seem to be going around this central point.
Linda Syms

Jim Worrall replied
Matt, the shutter was left open for 2 minutes. I used a torch with an incandescent globe to do a little bit of light painting on the rocks.

Do I see the moon or mars on your photo. Wonderful work!
Jim Worrall replied 28 days ago
Hi Seby, the moon is almost directly above. You can tell the position of the moon by looking at the shadow cast by the rock on the left.
I have no idea where Mars was that night.
Cheers.
