I showed photos of Pulpit rock to my wife, suggesting I would like to photograph it. “It’s just a boring rock” was here response. This is ANYTHING but boring! Great foreground interest, leading lines, clouds, colours, movement!

  • Graham Lea

    Graham Lea

Great photo. How wide is your lens!? Looks like almost 180 degrees.

  • Jim Worrall replied

    Hi Graham, ...it’s a 10-20mm lens.
I’m not sure how many degrees that translates to, but at 10mm it’s quite easy to accidentally get your own toes or the tip of a tripod leg in some photos. ;-)

  • Graham Lea

    Graham Lea

I got curious and looked it up. : )
Assuming you were using it at 10mm on an APS-C camera, the angle was about 97 degrees.
Aside from the physics, though, it’s an awesome photo. Well done again.

  • Jim Worrall replied

yes, 97 degrees ey, that explains why the hood is so small.

    ;-)
