Snow Geese winter in the Skagit Valley in Western Washington, numbering over 50,000 at some times. I got up early and waited in 30º temperatures waiting for them to put on a spectacular show.

  • thank you so much, Phil – I was a bit frozen myself, it took all day for my feet to warm up – I was out there for almost 4 hours! Thanks again!

Never have seen that many together! Wonderful!! Love how the front ones are in air and back ones just sitting there.

  • thanks so much – I think I believe the 50,000+ number – it was amazing, they covered a field from one end to the other as far as the eye can see.
